Which tools does this cover?
The principles for safe use of common powered hand tools: grinders, drills, saws, sanders and similar. We cover safe set-up, PPE, dust and vibration, and inspection.
How long is the course?
Half a day, at our Salford training centre or on your site.
Is abrasive wheel use covered?
Briefly, but if your team uses cut-off saws or angle grinders regularly, take our separate Abrasive Wheels course as well.
Is HAVS covered?
Yes, hand-arm vibration syndrome is part of the awareness content.
