This course enables individuals to comply with their duties under the Work at Height Regulations, and raises awareness of the safety factors to consider when working at height.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as Safe Use of Harness training?
No. This course covers your duties under the Work at Height Regulations, ladders, scaffolds and general principles. Safe Use of Harness is a separate, more practical course focused on PPE, lanyards, harnesses and fall arrest. Many sites need both.
How long is the course?
Half a day, delivered at our Salford training centre or on your site.
How long does the certificate last?
Frameworks Certificate of Training is typically valid for three years. Many sites refresh annually.
Is this IPAF or PASMA?
No. IPAF (powered access) and PASMA (mobile towers) are separate, equipment-specific qualifications. Working at Height is the general regulations and principles course that sits under both.
Do I need PPE for the course?
No, this is mostly classroom-based. If you want practical training with harnesses and equipment, ask about our Safe Use of Harness course.
