Is this an Ofqual-regulated qualification?
Yes. The Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling is Ofqual regulated, which gives it more weight than an awareness-only course.
How long is the course?
One full day, at our Salford training centre or on your site.
Do I need to take this if I already have Manual Handling Awareness?
Many higher-risk workplaces want Level 2 specifically. If your role involves frequent, heavy or awkward manual handling, this is the qualification to go for.
Is there an assessment?
Yes. The day finishes with a short written assessment and practical observation.
